to be completley honest with you if a v6 is still too fast then i wouldnt go to a camaro for a first car, im 18 and started out with a 67 chevy with a 350 and when i got used to the power from that i got a 93 z28, i guess what im trying to say is get him a different car to start then when you think he has matured more is is ready and more responsible to handle a camaro...get him an SS, or hell even a Z28 if its out by then
