I want to start in 1st gear and let the tranny shift when it wants to. All I know is that when you use the tap shifter to get to first, then I have to tapshift when I accelerate. Maybe the tranny will shift at redline even in tapshift mode, but I have to grow the balls to try it.
I know it will downshift when coming to a stop.
