Guys I hate to rain on your parade but I Don't Recommend this, these are all aluminum engines and the bearing clearances are strongly affected by operating temps.

Running the engine cold makes the Crank Bearing clearances Tight.

I have never seen any additional power by running the engine cold, it also increases the timing needed for a complete burn, and increases emissons, and reduces fuel economy.

Let's not think we know more than GM Engineers.

My Recommendation is Leave the T-Stat Alone.

Everytime I dyno one of these cars they make the most power when FULLY Warmed up.

Usually the 3 runs or more before it stops gaining power, What does that tell you?
