There is a separate thread for this topic, but here are the basics that I follow.

If your car has not yet been waxed, use Meguiar's M34 Detailer. Keep a small spray bottle of it in your trunk, along with a microfiber towel. At the first sign of bug splatter, reclean with the detailer. M34 will take off wax, as it is a "cleaner/detailer".

If your car has been waxed, try Meguiar's polymer detailer M135. It is silicon-based, so it will be hard to remove if you decide to paint your car later. Same process as above. Bugs will wipe off with no effort.

Always wipe front-to-back, as swirling will be viewable from all angles if you accidentally scratch it.
