Wife and I liked the show also. Was a bit slow at first, also was wondering where they were going with it, but they definately put some thought into this show, will be tuning in next week.
As for the car... I got a little weak in the knees, almost cried. But not nearly the rush I got from Transformers (Yes... I teared up during Transformers).
I played the SS startup vid and the show scene bout 20 times each. Definately a different starter noise, and exhaust tone. The thing I kept thinking though was: GM is obviously invested in this show, and are able to use it as a good means of hyping the Camaro and the Traverse. I would think that they at least might have had some say in the sound for the Camaro. That being said, isn't it possible that they dubbed over the same car in a parking garage? Or at the very least, they got it as close as they could to what originally heard? Just shots in the dark. Have no production knowledge at all, but you could bet if they used my car in a show and it ended up sounding like a coffee grinder, heads would roll. I would want it as close as possible to the way it is supposed to sound.
BTW Tony... it was on last night (Monday) at 9 P.M. on NBC just two hours down the 10 from you.
