I'm gonna have to disagree w/ my M6 brothers on this one.....the OP has never driven a manual before. It's easy for us that have been driving one for years to tell him to get one. Look, it's a big investment, a new car and you want to enjoy it. If that means an automatic, so be it. I would only buy a M6 but I've been driving one for years. If I didn't know how, although I can learn, it might not be the best way to enjoy my new 30K plus car. Don't worry about what others think, both M6 and Auto are great cars and options. Drive what you want, but make sure it's what you want not what you think others would like better.
