***UPDATE***
First: Applebees never called back so I go in today to find out I need to e-mail someone about it! WTF!? Apparently they recently changed the process. I don't know if it was the other guys way of avoiding it or what, but whatever.
Second, and GOOD NEWS!: Went to Avanti's after Applebees. The GM there actually came out and talked with me, rather than just relaying a message! He seemed VERY excited about working something out! They have never had an event like this before, so he is really looking forward to having it and said to give him the weekend to check things out and he'd get back to me by Tuesday. The problem is that Saturday noon is there busy time, so I mentioned that we were flexible on the time, it didn't have to be noon and also, that if need be Sunday could work but we are hoping for Saturday.
