And this coming from someone who does drag race in stock form highest I had in my Stock GTO was 13.19, in my Stock Camaro SS 12.88. Now as an very experienced racer I know how to get cars to move. You are very bias and I understand its because you love your GTO as do I but lets be real overall its not in the same class. Tell me this how many times before you changed out your stock shifter were you not able to hit 3rd gear in the GTO and how stiff is that clutch. GTO was rushed and not done right, but its still a good car just not as good. and once again

There's a 124 lbs difference. The LS3 also dynos a good 30 rwhp higher (on average) than the manual LS2 GTOs (I owned 2 LS2 GTOs). That more than makes up for the 124 lbs difference.
Combine the extra power with a better suspension and drivetrain and you get a faster car in a straight line.

We all agree the GTO is a fast car. But the LS3 Camaro definately has an advantage.
My stock M6 GTO times were embarrassing because of terrible wheel hop issues.
