I know, that on my 1998, SS, I which had leather, if I wasn't careful about how I got in the car, it would really take a toll on the side of the seat.

I ended up learning how to put my sorry rear end in the middle of the seat instead of sliding over the side bun. It help relieve a lot of wear on the car.

I still do the same thing with my 2010. Helps save wear on the leather. It should do the same for cloth.

Just a suggection.
