The dealer told me it's "normal". It's caused by AFM. I've since taken matters into my own hands and tuned AFM out and this problem went away. Since you have potential powertrain issues. I can't recommend that you do the same since applying a tune
could void your powertrain warranty. Using tap shift helps to mask the problem since you can keep your RPMs up. Of course that will cause you to get less MPG which was the point of AFM in the first place.
