That is gonna be a tough one to get an answer on. Not sure anyone has had them apart themselves. Usually handled when tires are put on and they change the rubber washers (seals). I think you could do it yourself provided you had the parts... You might wanna head to the dealer and ask to see the microfiche for the TPMS and see the breakdown of the parts involved. That should give you a good idea if it's a DIY'er...
