Sorry this is so Long
Ok i just got my first oil change 560 miles roughly ( im an old fashion break in man at the age of 23). So im leaving the dealership, spot what appears to be a Hennessy camaro bc of the stripes that go down the doors and over the rear fenders. So i get turned around. Special Edition car for sure but not a Hennessy. I take pixs and the Husband comes out and is taking to me, his wife is the one that drives it and other details and some details about mine. So i leave and get going down the road and i forget to take a pix i wanted. Turn around and go back. So this is where i screwed up i guess

. So i take a pix of her VIN then i take on of the fenders and then she comes out. Heres the dialog:

Her: oh no, no pixs
Me: oh dont worry i wont replicate it(thinking she is joking)
Her: No i mean the vin, dont be taking pictures of it
Me: Oh im sorry if i upset you in any way.
Her: well i dont mind pictures of the car but not my vin. I mean the cars are beautiful, yours is beautiful as well, but dont be taking any of the vin.
Me: Ma'am i am truly sorry i swear if i disrespected you in any way.
Her: Answer me this, why wouldnt i not want you to take pixs of my vin.
Me: i truly dont know(shrugging my shoulders) but i have a reason for why i was
Her: well why were you then
Me: Well i am apart of a forum for these cars, big enthusiasts, and i was just curious as to what the production # would of been for them to have a special edition.
Her: Well if you are wanting to know the info on them then you can contact your dealer( which is just across the street) bc they had one at one time if you want to know more info on them.
Me: Oh ok thanks and again i am very very sorry
Her: Its ok

I thought about it and thought about it, Was i really in the wrong. Ok i can see her point sorta, it is her property and im around it and need to be respectful, but its not back in the day where you could prob get someones vin and get a key made and steal their car. This is 2010 and the keys are laser cut.

AND HEAR ME OUT, IM IN NO WAY TRYING TO BE DISRESPECTFUL AND WOULD NEVER PURPOSELY OVER STEP MY BOUNDARIES WHEN IT COMES TO SOMEONES CAR, NO MATTER WHAT THE CAR IS (ESPECIALLY THE CAMAROS)
