I will be honest here since I have driven my really good friends 335 sedan quite a few times.
The car is fun to drive and honestly handles better than the Camaro, but it does not have the "umph" factor in it in terms of looks, aggressiveness or driving style.
The Camaro IMO looks better than the 335 from the outside, and when you press the gas, the exhaust note gives it a little character which I felt was missing from the 335. Oh and the 335 looks just about like any other BMW... most average peeps cannot differentiate that and any other 3 series...
Almost everyone spots a Camaro from far and keeps on looking at it.
Now the 335 is much faster than the 2LT/RS but then again it also costs twice as much. The SS is the real competitor.
Finally... a new car with 3 yr bumper to bumper and 5 yr/100k powertrans warranty vs a car with no warranty!
Keep in mind BMW parts and labor are very expensive. Good luck in your decision!
