Really, you guys are powershifting without the clutch??
At the track, I've always powershifted by keeping my right foot planted on the gas and quickly hitting the clutch/shifting... Works great as long as you don't miss the 2-3 and bounce off the limiter.
My understanding of the NLS would be that you would do the above and it would hang at redline until you engage the next gear, rather than boucing off the limiter and ruining the run if you miss (along with kissing valves off the pistons, etc)....
Make no mistake... I'll still powershift at the track without NLS, but I thought it sounded like a pretty cool feature. Too bad we won't get it :(
