I would stick with Dynamat Xtreme...IMO it's worth it...I've used a few others.
Also, solid coverage isn't needed unless you are in an extreme situation. You can "checkerboard" or stagger the pieces. You goal is to add mass to the panel, this reduces the frequency is resonates at. On my GN, I did the floor pan solid and the doors, sides, roof, and quarters alternating pieces pretty much. That's a sound quality competition vehicle with USACi and IASCA also.
