We only get one or two decent snowstorms a year here. And 'decent' for this area means 3-8 inches, RARELY more. We just don't get a lot of snow. And for the occasional time it does snow, I'm only 3.5 miles from work, with both my house and workplace just off a major road that is plowed early.
Ice will worry me more than snow. And almost nothing is any good on ice anyway.
