I only wave to other 4th gen SS's because they are less common to see and easy to spot. Usually those owners will wave back. It's too hard to tell a Z28 from a V6 on the 4th gen and most V6 drivers won't wave.

I suspect it will be the same with the 5th gen, mostly only SS drivers will wave, but it will be hard to tell the difference from a V6 on the road as they pass by.
