Similar to his review of the iPod Nano in my opinion. Mine works ok but it is definitely buggy. Sometimes it just locks up and you have to unplug the USB and reconnect it, other times Ive had to turn off the car and open the door then disconnect it and start the car back up.
Also the navigation between Artists, Albums and songs is buggy. Sometimes when you choose Artists you get a list of the songs instead of Albums, then you have to hit the back button and hit Artists again to see a list of Albums. Same with Albums and sometimes all the Albums dont show up in the list when navigating by Artist or Album. It usually remembers the last song that was played, but sometimes it plays that song then starts to play the next song from the All Songs list as apposed to the Artist or Album that you were listening to previously.
I have been very disappointed in the way my iPhone works with the Camaro, it is very buggy in my opinion and gets frustrating when you are constantly playing with buttons and going back and forth in order to find the right song or album. From a navigation a USB thumb drive with a good directory structure (Artist,Albums,Songs) navigates 10x better and more seamlessly then the iPhone. Unfortunately there are a few other issues with just a thumb drive. I think I am going to pick up an iPod classic and give it a try.
I have the iPhone 3G by the way not sure if the 3Gs is any better or not.
