Actually it was 2 tests, both with GPS equipment on the street. It means something, but it doesn't mean you can start comparing it to other times..

I take it the only individual test you will acknowledge will be when a ford mag rips the shit out of one for a half of a day and ices the intake with Evan Smith behind the wheel? Or some other genetically engineered driver they get to drive those mustangs in the ford mags lol.

It's the same thing when people claim 12.6s with a stock Camaro lol..Neither time is realistic. That's why it's only fair to compare when BOTH cars line up against each other in the same conditions at the same track. That will tell the whole story.

And so when they have a same day same driver tests why would that be definitive? I can think of many reason to discredit this as well. The main reason being biased reviews. Also becuase one driver is good in a certain car does not mean he will be equally as good in another. Also...just one or even two tests will not be enough. They would have to do about 6 or 7 different tests head to head before it would even start to hold ground at all.

I agree, and that we will see. The only test we had thus far is two automatic cars. In fairness the Mustang GT isn't even out yet, give it time.

So in all fairness I think that looking at three separate reviews...and thorwing the ETS out the window...one look at the trap speed shows these cars are a dead heat. You cant honestly believe that out of all 3 of these tests it is just a coincidence or that all 3 were in worse conditions and or driver than the camaro.

Give it time man...Like I said the car hasn't even been released yet and you have no clue what conditions the car was run in. BTW, you keep saying 3 tests, it was only 2. One a 12.8@110mph and one a 13.x@109mph.

So if by some chance they run a road test in another mag besides motor trend and only run a 13 flat in the mustang and a 12.9 in the camaro your not going to say something like "motor trend ran a 12.8 so they suck"

I am betting you will try and discredit this as well even though it is same track same day etc.

If they run both of them side by side that would be great. But we don't need motor trend to do that for us. There will plenty of videos to watch of these two cars going at it.
