People here sight Ted's test to say 2" are the best, but he actually recommended the 1 7/8" headers for most people. 1 7/8 headers are better down low, and match 2" headers for just about all of the power band for less $. Unless you're planning on building a track car and spend all your time at peak hp, you'll be perfectly fine getting the 1 7/8 headers. Really, you can't go wrong with either size, but if you don't plan on racing the car a lot and spending most of your time around 5000 rpm, why spend more money on the 2" headers?
