I would suggest you go auto. Plus the new camaro will have shifters on the steering wheel - so you can still have the fun and control of manually shifting thro gears (and form what i've read on here is that it won't up/down shift automatically in the manual mode - u want to redline u can)
it is up to you, i'm just throwing positive notes you hadn't included (i'm sure u know all the positives of a standard transmission)
