But seriously, I wonder how many new cars people on this board have bought? 300 is acceptable but higher than the norm, anything under 100 is pretty normal. Most car companies stopped or reduced the subsidies for dealer demos years ago. Since then dealers usually have one demo of a model, maybe, and buyers test the car they are considering. If you had not bought the car you tested, it would have that many more miles for the next person. Legally, in Florida at least, they can sell a car as new if it has never been titled and has under 500 miles. The returned cars under the 60 day program could not be sold as new because they would have been titled.
