Okay, my 2 cents:
My 02 SS convertible was an award winning triple black beauty. I recieved first place trophies at Camaro Superfest, Ontario Nationals, GM Best Camaro and various other events. That being said, black is a very difficult color to maintain, even if it is garage queen (trust me). If you don't mind everything and I mean everything showing on your car get black, but if you want to enjoy your car without cleaning nonstop I would personnally get IOM. As a matter of fact, I did. You can always do black rallies, hockey sticks or other accent in black.
All in all, it is ultimately your choice, just be informed and enjoy
