However it is my first manual car so I have a few questions as well as some general questions about the Camaro. Sorry if they seem naive I've just never driven stick before.
1.) The shifter likes to vibrate and sometimes shake a tiny bit while in neutral, is this normal?
No cause for concern, but it is springloaded to center of the shift throw, should'nt be 'rattling' too much. If so, might want to ask dealer to check it out. Mine tends to stay fairly steady. If it's really shaking around, might e concern, but slight vibration is fine.
2.) WHY DOES THE CLUTCH CATCH SO HIGH? LOL WTF
New clutch - normal. As it wears, will drop down in travel.
3.) The temp gauge for the motor never goes past slightly half way. Every car I've ever seen always when fully warmed up has the needle half way between "H" and "C".
Mine never gets halfway, normal. No concern. Check your digital (push the menu button on the blinker arm and scroll to the temp indication. Normal is about 190-210 ro so.
4.) Whats the proper break in for this car? I kinda just got on it right out of the box, after the first 150 miles or so.
Several opinions on this. Personally, I was easy on it to 1500 miles. Then changed oil and the engine seemed to respond better. Was good for initial 1500, got better after a bit of wear.
Its a 6Speed 1LT and its got 700 miles so far.
Manuals are the BEST !!! Have a ball !
Any ideas guys? I'm mostly concerned about the stick rattling and the motor not running completely warm.
