Obviously there are some changes, even it is tuning.

But I will say manufactures do change how they rate cars. My 05 TL was rated 270HP while 2 years later they rated is less and Honda said this was because they measured differently. I think the real reason why the measured differently is they had the Type-S which was rated I think at 284hp. Different motor but not very much higher then the 270hp rating. They had to make the new base model TL to be weaker then the Type-S to make the Type-S to sound like it had a lot more power then just 14hp for thousands more.
