Hi all. Couldn't find any section for newbie so I thought I would just post here. My name is Amanda and I have a recently purchased 2002 Z28. I have to say that I really love this car. She is my third camaro.... the other two were v6 cars and just not what I was really looking for.
I know very little about the car as I bought her from a pot lot in Longmont Colorado back in january. I do know that the car was abused. She needed engine work and exhaust work. Buying that car was one of the most stressful experiences I have had at a dealership. The cats were going out on the car and I took it to them twice to have it repaired, but they welded third ones between the tranny and the rear end to make the car pass emissions. God I was so pissed!
I think the car has a cam in it but not sure. It does have hooker cat back and hooker headers.
But know she is fixed and is running the way she should. This is the most exciting car I have owned aside from my first car.
I am looking forward to making a lot of new friends here and learning a little more about these 5th gen Camaros. Maybe even meet up with local cars and their owners.
