I agree the Camaro still looks considerably better, but the mustang looks pretty good, and there are lots and lots of people that think it looks better.

Really? Your worried about 12 hp? That's only 12 hp more than the L99 and 14 less than the LS3? How is that better? A couple hundred pounds of weight? There are many companies that can make your heavy chevy run like a light weight beast. Chevy is still a head of Ford regardless of the new Mustang.
But if this is the case of your worries, then why not take the money you would spend on a "new" and "improved" Mustang and apply it to your already much more beautiful, 400+ hp and make it lighter and faster. An exhaust and supercharger upgrade would cover any weight to power ratio that the new Mustang will put out and I willing to bet the cost wouldn't be much more.
The average American can settle for a mustang. I consider those, including myself, with a Camaro a class step above the rest. Even over those with Vipers or Corvettes, Camaro is the real head turner even after a year I still get smiles, pointing, and asked if a picture can be taken. I never hear of anyone asking that about a Mustang. Maybe I'm bias, but I love my Camaro and never felt like I do with any other Camaro or car I've ever had.
Stick to quality.

PS this is a retort of why not to get a new Mustang, nothing against SemperFi.
