Oh, I forgot to mention...if you go with the spray on then do one thin coat and let it dry and see how it looks. If you want it darker then repeat. Thin coats will help keep it from running and being uneven and you can fine tune how dark you want it. When you are happy with it then you can shoot a layer of clear on top.
