Do we really care who is the winner? There will always be something that is faster, regardless. 426hp here versus 412hp, 312hp versus 305hp....200lbs more here, afew less lbs there...with it that close, how many passengers you have in the car versus driver reflexes/skill is gonna determine the winner. The driver will determine the vast majority of these contests in the real world.
In controlled conditions, the Mustang power to weight is gonna take it, in looks and sexyness, the Camaro will always win.
Even with 100,000 Camaro's having been built, I still have an eye catching car and it will take years, literally years for the Camaro to even begin getting close to the numbers the Mustang has. Mustangs are on every corner. Even 40 years ago Mustangs were always more prevalent than Camaros.
