And for the record, Scott HAS NEVER misled anyone.
Everyone wants a kicka@@ Camaro, but there are some who want it loaded with all the "goodies", and they want it priced based on what they feel is reasonable.
The reality is, with what GM/Chevrolet have to go through in building a car these days, ie: CAFE, safety standards, etc., the price for what a customer may feel is fair isn't based in reality.
Taking a comment I've heard from Scott, "You can't please everyone." With no disrespect intended, if you feel you're "being screwed", and the Camaro is "over-priced", maybe you should look elsewhere?

No complaints from me. I actually anticipated the cost of a loaded 2SS would be a bit over $40K. I was pleased to find mine would come in at just over $37K. Damn people, the LS3 with TR6060 transmission is better than a $10,000 package itself. Throw in IRS, Stabilitrac, 4 wheel Brembos, leather, premium sound, etc, etc. What is there to complain about.
Does it matter if it doesn't have what EVERYONE wants? That's impossible if not just plain impractical. Add what EVERYONE wants to make EVERYONE happy and you're looking at $50K and EVERYONE would not be able to get one. I wish I could get mine with a button to push that would make the car infront of me disappear but I know it wont have that option. If it don't have what you want, wait till next year. If it still don't come with what you want, buy what you want and put it on your car. All the extras add cost.
I added $11K to my Colorado after I bought it. Never complained once. It just didn't have everything I wanted so I added it aftermarket. No problem
