Awesome! Wish I could have been there! At least I got a track day in before I got sent to Huntsville, AL for work. Now I have a POS Nissan Versa rental car. After watching these, I'm half tempted to set it on fire and roll it down a big hill. No Camaro owner should have to drive something this bad. It even has a bent wheel but the rental folks (low Govt bid) say that is normal... Get what you pay for.
I think GM finally got it! Camaro is great and I think the staff finally understands that if you build a nice car, people will buy it. Interviews were great and even better news that they are no longer Gov't Motors with the loan payback. Heck, I work for the Gov't and can honestly say that the Gov't does nothing well, with the exception of the military in some cases. Not for the lack of trying, but there are just too many rules and regs. Now, if we could just roll back CARB and the other EPA nuttiness. Hoping to see supercharged version soon that I could retrofit. Do I need it - No. Would it be fun - Yes. Had a hard time keeping up with a VW Golf GTI at track day. Way more nimble due to weight, but more HP would get the job done. Better suspension would be nice, too, but GM did a good job out of the box. This is a muscle car so more HP is always the best answer.
Sorry for the rant - on a business trip taking a required class that is totally useless for my job and stuck in a POS rental.
