My driving always changes so my numbers are different. But I always reset it when I fill up. I usually get about 23mpg. Best I got was a little over 24 MPG when I was doing almost exclusively highway driving. The problem is "city" driving. I live in the suburbs and driving through them, being very mellow with low RPMs, it sucks the MPG down to like 13mpg. If I was driving in an actual city, can't imagine how bad it would be. The city number is more misleading than the highway. If you keep it to 65, you can probably get right close to 26mpg or so. But on tanks where I don't get on the highway at all, I've had as bad as 16mpg. The city mpg has me the most disappointed.
