This happens ALL of the time in Alabama. The police officer notices a muscle car, presumes someone who enjoys speeding is driving, and tailgates the muscle car in hopes that it will lead to a ticket. That happened to me several years ago in Birmingham, in my 1998 Camaro; when I pointed to the speed limit sign, 25mph in a school zone, he took the next turn. This is just what we, as Camaro drivers, need to expect. I love that OnStar helped with the problem; 1998 Camaros didn't have OnStar.
