Yes with mediocre drivers, horrible actually in the GT500, it will just barely beat the SS. The stock 2010 GT500 has run 11.9s @ 120mph. With a tire the car went 11.50s @ 118mph. It is not a close race with a SS if the GT500 driver can at least halfway drive.
I can't wait for the Z28 to come out. Hopefully Ford will then make the 670hp package standard on the GT500. They have at least hinted at that recently.
