Back when I had a VR4 ALOT of people were testing the limits and that led to learning what not to do. I played it safe. IMO he can hit 12's with a great launch, but 16psi will only be seen for a second and drop off quickly.

Agreed! I had a '96 VR-4 with a boost controller, BOV, Intake, some exhaust work, and a good driver

, and that was a mid-high 12 second car. But I would NOT go over 14.5 psi on stock injectors. I would keep it at 14 to play it safe and plan for spikes. Velocity is dead on about boost and the fuel system.
I too was around in those experimenting days and learned a lot from what was being tried.
