I chose the SS because I didn't want to look back 3 months later and say why didn't I get the V8. Don't put yourself in a bind financially if it looks like the SS will be to expensive. If it were me I would wait and save money and get the SS. There's nothing wrong with the LT if that's what you go with because it's plenty fast enough for most but it certainly doesn't have the get up and go like the SS. You need to keep in mind the cars are heavy and the LT doesn't seem to have enough torque for the weight. It boils down to YOUR personal preference and what you feel would make you happy. I can't be happier with my 2SS. I love it!
