I have always been a huge Nikon fan. I think I got my first for my 10th Birthday..
Right now I have several digitals including the D-70 and the D-90. However
lately I find myself going back to the old film can (Nikon F-5) there just something about film that makes it so much more fun and organic.

Seems like you're either Nikon or Canon fans...must be the Chevy/Ford kind of thing...we've been very happy with the Nikons (and still have a couple Pentax's too) Living in Alaska makes a camera nut out of you pretty fast, no lack of subject matter, that's for sure! I think my sister still has an F-5 too! Collectors items nowadays, eh? Still fun though, kind of like shooting black powder!
