I drove the V6 (for the first time) yesterday. It is very quick. Just for fun, I did the math also and the V8 gas cost is about $225/year more as you said.

That is not the show stopper - I'm looking for a 2LT - the 2SS is ~$7K more .. w/tax we are near $40K... Can't bring myself to spend $40K on a car..
