great hypothesis and analysis. Good Will Hunting-ish. Comes down to only $187 difference in gas costs over a year's time though. My fiance and I spent $130 on dinner last saturday night! One thing you haven't considered is the purchase price of a V8 vs. a V6, which you slightly allude to at the end of the thread. That's where you'll save more buying the V6 and that to me is what the majority of people would most consider when opting over a V6 or V8. But nonetheless, great gas modelized gas consumption comparison.
