See...that's what I thought too. But, I was down at our police vehicle shop today and what do I see??? I see a new crown vic in preperation to be decked out w/ all SAPD lights, sirens, decals and stuff and it has a new plate w/ 7 digits! I'm calling the DMV tomorrow because I have an idea....
and the plate was like this... 123 4567....with 3 numbers, space, 4 numbers.
