I've heard some good ones. I love it when people try to blame something on the car. I say, "OK. In that case, I'll go ahead and order a wrecker for you. That way, we are sure this won't happen again....we'll just tow it to a shop for you." And the replies are pretty good...."Uh....wait a minute...."
Don't blame anything on the car. You will end up getting the ticket AND getting it towed!

Do you really want to know? Do you think a Judge will care if your spedo works? People try that all the time with trucks when they get bigger tires. The ticket still stands. Sorry....just being honest with ya...friendly advice.
