So the first producton 5.0 ran a
13.2@110 practically new in the 1/4 mile by a performance shop. I find that very respectable.
For comparision's sake the first run of the 5th gen was also by a performance shop (Henessey) and they got
13.6@108 with a 2.3 '60 time. Now if we use the theory that .1 off your '60 time gives you about .2 in the 1/4 mile. And this Mustang got a 2.1 '60 time. Now if we equal the Camaro's '60 to this Mustang's. Guess what? The run about the same times. The guy driving also said that he was short shifting at 6k rpm, and it shows in the video:
13.4@110 for the Camaro and
13.2@110 for the Stang. As for the DA, im not sure what's it like in Texas during April. But im thinking it would be a bit worse than 300-400 that the stang ran in.
