I would NEVER do that stuff, but I do get very irratated when i see it.

An occasional on the line, or slightly crooked isn't that bad... but the obvious two spots for one car is annoying as hell.

I personally would never do it, because I know there are plenty of people out there who will go out of their way to mess with your car for thinking you are above the rules that everyone else follows.

Not to mention the term "nice car" is subjective. Some kids think their brand new Honda Civic with a fresh coat of wax, looking as shiney and spotless as can be, is special.. And they may feel parking in two spots is acceptable.

I know my buddy thought so with his Mini Cooper

Imagine if everyone with a car they cared about, parked like that?
Agreed with a lot of what you said up till there. Any "kid" who was lucky enough to get a brand spanking new car, no matter wtf brand, or type of car it is better treat it like it is something special. Otherwise

You can park with the passagers frt side just inside the right line and the drivers rear just inside the left line without taking up more then one spot and lessen your chances of getting a ding because you are parked on a angle, alot easier these days because most spots are larger then years a go. :flag2:
As for this thought, i would hate to say it, but I park out back too. I put my car perfectly between the lines everytime, and 90% of the time I park by a median or island. Problem with that being is shopping carts. When i parked at the back of the parking lot it left me open for a good shot. Wind caught ahold of a shopping cart and with nothing in the area to stop it, it rammed into the side of my car leaving a shockingly large dent in the door. (I know this because I watched it happen as soon as I walked out of the door of the store I was in. My car was too far away for me to sprint in and stop it, but I did save it from hitting a BMW FWIW.)

I thought parking in back was the be all end all solution as well. I was wrong. BTW, It dented what most of you guys would call a beater car, but I still don't like to see any of my cars get damaged. No matter how old it is. A car is a car, but my car is "MY" car and I will take car of it no matter how crappy it is. <<Random thought. Sorry
