The way we make the pieces are we lay down 3m double sided tape, than we place a veneer over it weather it is a wood,carbon fiber, modern material. Than we place a urethane coating on top of the piece. They are slightly flexible so this way they can be contoured to the location they need to be installed. The urethane coating is what protects the material from ripping and being damaged. The Real Brushed Aluminum and the Real Chrome are the only materials that do not have a urethane coating because you can actually feel the materials.
