they work for the phone running through the bluetooth in the pioneer head unit. I'm going to call metra and see if the programing could be done so it works for both.. If I don't have my cell phone connected to the bluetooth, I can use the SWC to place a call using the onstar phone.. I just can't answer the onstar phone using the SWC, I have to use the button in the mirror.
