Yes it is true 8 eggs were thrown at my car in my own driveway while i was sleeping. Sad thing is I live in a gated community. There are 6 spots where the egg shell actually went through the clear coat and chipped the paint BAD. Have to make an insurance claim as half of the car will have to be re-painted.. Will followup with some pictures.
