The last thing we do is 'grain' the tools that produce interior parts...so -- for instance-- when you look at the door trim panels on a pre-production car - they 'look' like the real thing - until you touch them and you realize we've 'sanded' or 'sprayed' the finish onto a hard plastic panel -meaning that it doesn't have the 'feel' of the finished product. Moreover, if you rub against the finish, it will come off............
soooooooooooooo..........while we WANT you to sit in the car and realize how great it is, we can't allow you to do that until we're building 'saleable' cars....
Sorry - -but trust me when I say this: WE WANT YOU BEHIND THE STEERING WHEEL.........it's just that we've put these cars out there for you LONGGGGGGGGGG before we normally would...........
