A turn of events...
So a friend I work with is just as car crazy as I am, we've both been looking at the new Camaro religiously and it turns out he won one. Apparently when he went on a cruise this summer he just filled out some random sweepstakes and it turned out that the grand prize winner will be recieving a Camaro SS. He is still getting the details ironed out but it's official he will be getting one.
Anyways he currently owns a Pontiac Trans Am I wanna say it's a 99', with a lot of mods on it. It has 520+ rwhp and has insane torque, plus a kickass monster exhuast.. He might have to sell it since he will have the other car and I was actaully considering purchasing it. The chances of me getting this are slim to none. If I do somehow get a shot at buying this car how much trouble will I have adjusting to the vehicle. Notice I haven't ever driven any type of muscle/sports car and the only v8's I've touched were my brothers trucks. I currently drive a 2001 chevy malibu LS. It's a V6 with front wheel drive and a pushrod engine. I was actaully hoping for the v6 camaro to help with the transition from front to rear wheel drive and it's a nice step up in power not too much and not too little. But the Trans Am will be significantly less money and I'd have a new car sooner. So what kind of precuations would I take going from a malibu into the seat of this monster?
