Ok, here are some shots.
The brace, laid in place:
The 1st (and only) hole drilled. Now, drilling was very tough as the 1/2" bit was long and the drill kept hitting, and scraping, the fiberglass hood. I could NOT get a clean hole directly over the rivet of the hood brace and it slipped over to the side - closest to the fender.
You can then see how that much off causes the brace not to line up - and therefore, it sits at an angle and cannot be bolted in. I have tried, and it just won't connect...
If you guys can tell me where I can get another RivNut insert, maybe I can sell the kit to someone else since it hasn't been used.
