In my videos, I DID NOT use 2000 grit paper. I want to make that very clear. That will quickly get you into trouble. My videos consisted of using 2500-3000 grit paper. I would never use Turtle garbage as a compound to remove that damage either. That's what took you so long. In my videos, I did one pass with Adam's SHR and got rid of all the damage with a PC. A PC IS NOT going to remove 2000 grit damage.

As thin as the clear coat is on these cars (and I know first hand from all the Camaros I sanded on at Camaro5 Fest), I would NOT recommend anyone with no experience do any wet sanding on your Camaro. What it cost to have someone professional do it compared to a repaint is significantly cheaper. Don't screw yourselves over. Wet sanding is best left to someone who knows how to do it.
